Wonder Woman

I love to read comic books. I've also really loved the super hero movies that have come out recently like The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises. But I really wish that there would be a big blockbuster about a super heroine! I think it's time a Wonder Woman movie, don't you?

Today I made an outfit with a tie tee with a Wonder Woman fabric. I think it's a perfect getup for class in the fall!

Easter!

I saw this video by youtuber devinsupertramp and I almost fainted. How cute! This totally puts me in an Easter-y mood. Everything about Easter is just so adorable: bunnies, chicks, all the pastel colors...

Easter dresses have a special place in my heart. My mom used to dress me in frilly pastel dresses for church and for family brunch. I love to pick out frilly and lacy spring outfits at the shop!
Parasols just make every outfit more girly!

 Pettiskirts in pastels $80

Lacy leg warmers $22

Happy Easter & have fun!

Shiny things!

I don't know what it is about me that makes shiny things SO INTERESTING. Seriously. Anything shiny just catches my eyes like a magpie.

This is why the necklaces in the store make me so happy. Such bright colors and so shiny. Little girls love them!

The rose beads are so cute.
I love the leopard print ribbon!
All necklaces shown $36-

Every day I work, I pick out a different necklace to wear for a few hours.
This one was my favorite, but it's been sold. Some lucky girl is wearing this one!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Today is Dr. Seuss' birthday! It's also Read Across America Day. I know I'm going to celebrate by reading my favorite Seuss books. When I was in elementary school, today we would come to class in our pajamas and have story time most of the day.

Here are some fun facts:
Dr. Seuss is a pen name. His real name was Theodor Geisel
I've been saying his name wrong my entire life! Seuss is rhymes with "voice". Who knew?

Dr Seuss Tie Onesie (18 mo) $28
Red hand knit hat $34
Of course we made an outfit for the little ones! Holidays are just an excuse to put together something cute and special to wear all day. ;-P

Have a great day and read a lot of books!
